ICDQ has been awarded the contract to carry out the certification of the Occupational Risk Prevention of the City Council of Vigo.

City Council of Vigo has entrusted ICDQ to carry out the external audit and become certified in Occupational Risk Prevention.

The city of Vigo, located in the province of Pontevedra, is one of the most populated municipalities in Galicia with almost 300,000 inhabitants, although every day almost half a million people live, work and study in this city, representing 32% of the population of the province of Pontevedra and 12% of the population of Galicia.

Its economy is boosted by its four main economic engines such as the automotive industry, shipbuilding, industrial fishing and the activities of the port and free trade zone. Although there are other important sectors for the city, such as commerce, services and tourism

Vigo City Council is aware of the principles that it must guarantee as a priority as a local administration and provider of services to citizens.

The objective of the Occupational Risk Prevention certification in Vigo City Council is to have a proactive system model for the management of health and safety in the workplace based on preventive activities.
