ICDQ audits Palma’s car park, ORA and Bicipalma services for the certification of the Quality Management System.

On 19 May, the first quality certificate was awarded to the Sociedad Municipal de Aparcamientos y Proyectos by ICDQ.

The mobility area of Palma City Council works to achieve safe, efficient and sustainable mobility in the municipality of Palma. They are dedicated to mobility on foot, by bicycle or on the different public transport systems, as well as traffic, goods transport and parking. Located in the headquarters of the local police, we are at the service of citizens for any procedure or management, as well as to resolve any doubts or suggestions they may have.

The objective of the creation of the SMAP in 2001 was to solve the shortage of parking spaces and reduce the inconvenience caused by the lack of parking spaces in the city of Palma de Mallorca.

SMAP currently manages 9 car parks and offers more than 4,500 parking spaces. In addition, they have implemented a policy of expanding free surface parking, with a network of more than 3,300 free parking spaces available to citizens and visitors.

This seal reaffirms the commitment to good public management and the effort that has been made to improve service to citizens while taking on new challenges such as the management of ORA, new car parks and the renovation of Bicipalma.
